چکیده

Abstract A study was conducted to identify the effects of standardized ileal digestible (SID) branched-chain amino acids (BCAA):lysine (Lys) ratios on growth performance, plasma nitrogen (N) profile, carcass traits, and economic analysis growing–finishing pigs fed diets with high corn distillers dried grains solubles (cDDGS) inclusions. total 1,140 (initial body weight [BW] = 28.7 ± 2.0 kg) were housed in 45 pens 25 or 26 one five a randomized complete block design. Experimental four phases based BW. Dietary treatments corn–soybean meal (SBM) diet (PC), corn–SBM-cDDGS-based (NC) SID BCAA:Lys ratio PIC (2020) recommendation NC targeted for 73% Val:Lys, 60% Ile:Lys, 144% Leu:Lys during growing (25 80 kg, Grow), 78% 70% 160% 170% finishing (80 120 finish), both (Grow–Finish). Corn distillers dried grains with solubles in diets for growing-finishing pigs: a cooperative study.

An experiment involving 560 crossbred pigs (28 replications of 4 to 6 pigs per pen) was conducted at 9 research stations to assess the effects of dietary concentrations of corn distillers dried grains with solubles (DDGS) on pig performance and belly firmness. Fortified corn-soybean meal diets containing 0, 15, 30, or 45% DDGS were fed in 3 phases from 33 to 121 kg of BW. A common source of DDG...

Effects of adding supplemental tallow to diets containing 30% distillers dried grains with solubles on growth performance, carcass characteristics, and pork fat quality in growing-finishing pigs.

Crossbred pigs (n = 315) were blocked by initial BW (6.8 ± 1.1 kg) and randomly assigned to 1 of 4 dietary treatments to evaluate the effects of dietary inclusion of tallow and corn distillers dried grains with solubles (DDGS) on pig growth, carcass traits, and pork fat quality. Diets consisted of a corn-soybean meal control diet (CON) and another 3 corn-soybean meal diets containing 5% tallow ...

The effects of medium-oil dried distillers grains with solubles on growth performance, carcass traits, and nutrient digestibility in growing-finishing pigs.

A total of 288 mixed-sex pigs (PIC 327 × 1050; initially 68.9 kg BW) were used in a 67-d study to determine the effects of increasing medium-oil dried distillers grains with solubles (DDGS; 7.63% ether extract, 30.1% CP, 19.53% ADF, 36.47% NDF, and 4.53% ash; as-fed basis) on growth performance and carcass traits in finishing pigs. Treatments consisted of a corn-soybean meal control diet or the...

Effects of dried distillers grains with solubles on carcass fat quality of finishing pigs.

A total of 1,112 pigs (initial BW of 49.8 kg) were used in a 78-d study to evaluate the effects of 0, 5, 10, 15, or 20% dried distillers grains with solubles (DDGS) and sex on carcass fat quality of finishing pigs. All diets contained 6% choice white grease and were fed in 4 finishing phases (50 to 59, 59 to 82, 82 to 105, and 105 to 123 kg, respectively). The experiment was conducted in a comm...
